Blitzkrieg 1939, Part 2 (B-35)

Battles of the German 16th Corps in Operation Fall Weiss, starting from the Battle of Mokra (September 1-2), through the battles of Piotrków Trybunalski and Tomaszów Mazowiecki (September 5-7), to the attack on Warsaw.

Two German armored divisions forming part of the German 10th Army attacked through the Częstochowa gap directly at Warsaw, cutting off the Łódź Army and Pomerania from the Vistula line. The biggest battle took place near Piotrków Trybunalski, where the Germans smashed the Polish 19th Infantry Division, and near Tomaszów Mazowiecki, where the Polish 13th Infantry Division was destroyed.
