Suwalki Gap 2025 - Released!
Suwałki Gap 2025 is a wargame depicting present-day hostilities that could happen in the border area between Poland, Russia and Lithuania, known for its challenging terrain.
The Suwałki Gap is a strategic land corridor in north-eastern Europe that connects Poland with the Baltic States, located between the Russian Kaliningrad and Belarus. The area is of particular geopolitical importance for NATO because it serves as a vital link for the supply and reinforcement of the Baltic States in the event of an armed conflict.
However, the Suwałki Gap may prove to be a daunting task. Although the distance between the Kaliningrad Oblast and Belarus is only 60 kilometres, the area is very difficult to traverse, especially for heavy military equipment. It is a post-glacial area with a very distinctive landform. Due to numerous lakes, hills and elevation differences, swamps and dense forests, the results of any attack in this region would be questionable at best.
